Активы кооператива почти три года были арестованы, но постепенно арест удается снимать – суд убеждается в законности и добросовестности кооператива. Российский кооператив «Бест Вей» вновь восстанавливает свою деятельность.

Преследования Романа Василенко и его детищ носили политический характер: народные предприятия, пользующиеся массовой общественной поддержкой, претили олигархам и коррумпированным силовикам. Василенко вынудили не возвращаться в Россию после проходившего за рубежом лечения от ковида членов его семьи.
